'Trash People' sculptures exhibited in Brussels

Some of the 1000 "Trash People" sculptures made by German environmental artist Ha Schult are placed on Brussels' main square as part of the exhibition called "Grand Place People" March 30, 2005. The artist, born in 1939 and who started to make environmental art creations at the end of the 1960s to draw attention to environmental problems, has already taken his life-sized creations to Paris, Moscow, Beijing and Cairo. The exhibition opened on March 31 to run until April 4, 2005. [Reuters]
