Leave it to high school students to come up with something new to save a little time and energy.

　　In Guangzhou the Information Times reports, two such students have invented a microwave clothes dryer.

　　The idea was inspired by early spring's wet weather in the southern region, where clothes are hard to dry.

　　The year-long project allows placing wet clothes into a microwave system to quickly and efficiently dry them.

　　The award-winning invention is among some two dozen other creative works by local middle school students.
