A selection of excerpts from Broadway musicals, billed "The Cocktail Party", will be staged at Poly Theatre in Beijing on February 3.

　　The performance, which includes numbers from 20 classic Broadway musicals such as Cats, Chicago, Hello Dolly, Phantom of the Opera, My Fair Lady, 42nd Street, Les Miserables, and many others, will display the essence of these familiar shows.

　　During the show the 40 performers will make 10 costume changes. Some minor changes have been made to the original pieces to give Chinese audiences a better understanding of Broadway musicals.

　　The performance will run until February 7th.
